The 1st Ranger Battalion was activated on June 19th, 1942 in Carrickfergus, Northern Ireland. Known as “Lucky Batt”, the modern-day 1st Battalion stays lucky running downtown Savanah, Georgia, and breaking SCAD chick’s hearts.
